Pathways to Employment
Volunteering Sunshine Coast is enthusiastic about working with our volunteers. We provide regular opportunities for professional and personal development and education. We also aid people seeking paid employment, by up-skilling them and providing suitable opportunities through volunteer placements with organisations. Just like the many organisations we support, our dedicated team of volunteers are diverse and passionate. Recent statistics showed that out of the 3000 volunteers we place into various positions, 73% were female and 26% were male. The average age of our volunteers is 44 and a majority live on the Sunshine Coast.
