Description: Volunteering Sunshine Coast is looking for a Work Experience Coordinator. The Work Experience Coordinator provides student placements by matching student and host employers in a way that is aligned with the training and educational objectives of the student.

Duties include:

  • Maintaining accurate records and data base (pathways)
  • Data entry
  • Process support
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Communication with host employers

Requirements:

  • Good telephone skills and email ability
  • Experience in small business
  • Knowledge of HR practices
  • Knowledge of Vocational and senior education
  • Self motivated/confident
  • Ability to research- find industry employers
  • Experience working with young people
  • Non essential: Ability to present career information to students

Commitment: Long term

Availability: Two days a week 9 am – 3 pm
