Description: A historical house in Yandina is managed by the members of a historical society. All of the members are volunteers.
They require volunteers to greet and serve light refreshments to the many visitors who come to the house. If you are mature, have a sense of humour, great people skills and prepared to do whatever is required, you’re the person this organisation is looking for.
Volunteers will be working in an air conditioned environment. We prefer mature volunteers, who can be relied on to open the house and prepare for the day to serve tea/coffee and light refreshments to visitors. They will be telling Yandina stories and cleaning up afterwards. People skills are essential because of the regular contact with visitors and the local community.
You will also be required to do minimal paperwork, head count and recording. Training and induction will be provided.
