Allow VSC to draft ads, place ads, field enquiries and interview potential volunteers on your behalf.
VSC is constantly updating the training calendar with new training opportunities across a diverse number of fields. Members will be offered discounted fees to all items on the training calendar.
Members will be invited to the annual Volunteer Day celebration which will give volunteers and employers alike the chance to network, and celebrate the value of volunteering.
Members will be able to utilise our quarterly workshops for volunteers to learn new or refresh old skills. This workshop is an excellent addition to the induction process.
Members will be invited to attend the quarterly networking event to consult with peers and colleagues, and learn about industry changes and opportunities.
Membership includes access to discounted accreditations and certificates required for volunteers or employees; such as first aid, police clearances, blue/yellow cards, OH&S certificates etc.
VSC will offer members media opportunities, either social, print or physical presence. In addition, VSC will provide endorsement letters to projects that aim to improve the volunteering community through new opportunities, incentives and recognition.
Members will receive a fund-writing kit that includes templates, research advice and writing tips. Further, VSC will proof-read and provide feedback on request.
Many organisations don’t quite have the status or resources to implement projects that they are aiming to secure funding for. VSC will offer members the chance to work in partnership for new projects or funding applications, in order to increase the chances of securing funding and being able to deliver superior project outputs.
Members will be able to send a team member for free (and additional members at a discounted price) to a 2-day Volunteer Management conference. The course content will include: training staff to work with volunteers, recruiting volunteers successfully, leadership skills, empowerment and ethics.
Members will have exclusive access to a pool of highly-skilled volunteers who will be available for free advice or paid sessions. Skills will include Legal, Accounting, Business Analysts, Graphic Designers, Board Members.
Members will be invited to vote on issues at the Annual General Meeting.
