Sunshine Coast Chamber Alliance – Business Mentoring Program

BY: Joeseph / 0 COMMENTS / CATEGORIES: Uncategorised

The Business Mentoring Program is a not-for-profit program to benefit small and medium-sized businesses on the Sunshine Coast to fulfill their true potential. The Business Mentoring Program operates on a simple set of values:

Passion: for the role of small business in our economy, and for seeing clients win

Integrity: an open, honest and confidential approach in our interactions

Care: having our mentees’ best interests at heart at all times

For Mentors:

⇒ Mentoring is rewarding and an incredibly worthwhile experience.

⇒ Being a volunteer mentor can enhance personal life skills, self-awareness, increase happiness, well-being and mental health.

⇒ Inspire upcoming leaders to perform at their best

⇒  Strengthen your own leadership capacity

⇒ Support & guidance throughout the Program from our experienced Mentor Coordinator

⇒ Allow you to pay it forward

Whether you’re new to running a business or a seasoned business owner, a mentor can help you refine your business strategy, map out the direction that your business should be taking and assist in setting goals for your business to succeed.

For Mentees

Key Benefits of the Mentoring Program include:

⇒ Enabling you to step out of the day-to-day and take an objective look at your business

⇒ Providing you with a space to brainstorm ideas and plan for the future

⇒ Offering you an independent sounding board via an impartial source with no vested interest

⇒ Acting as a catalyst to inject new energy into your business and take it to the next level

⇒ Flexibility with the time and location of mentoring meetings

Applications from potential mentees and mentors may be made now and will be assessed for selection around mid-August.

The initiative will be implemented across the various Sunshine Coast chambers of commerce and will be coordinated centrally by the Sunshine Coast Chambers of Commerce Alliance education committee.

Interested mentors and mentees are invited to register their interest at:
