Relief Receptionist

A relief receptionist is required in the Birtinya area to relieve on a weekly or fortnightly basis as required.


  • Good telephone manner
  • Admin experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be vaccinated
  • Must complete a criminal history check
  • Must complete a volunteer induction program
Fabio the Frog Volunteer
A volunteer is needed to join Wishlist’s Fabio the Frog program, conducting weekly visits to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital to interact with children and families in order to gather feedback on their hospital experience. Visits are between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on the number of families present. You would be identified as a Wishlist volunteer, asking questions about their experience via a cartoon on an Ipad – Fabio the Frog. Training will be provided.
  • You will be required to complete a volunteer induction program
  • You must be vaccinated
  • Blue card and criminal history check required
Shop Assistant

Shop assistants are urgently required in Caloundra to promote sales to achieve store budgets. Times available are:

  • 9 am – 2 pm Sunday
  • 1 pm – 4 pm Monday
  • 9 am – 4.30 pm Wednesday
  • 1 pm – 4 pm Saturday

Responsibilities will include:

  • Customer service
  • Register use
  • Stock preparation and visual merchandising


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Work effectively in a team
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Previous retail experience an advantage
Volunteer Truck Offsider

A truck offsider is needed to assist with loading and unloading donations to clients, stores and distribution centre. You will be reaching out to people all over the Sunshine Coast and interact with generous donors and caring shop staff. You will need to work 7 am -2 pm one day per week Monday – Friday, days negotiable.


  • Use correct personal protective equipment including enclosed shoes and high visibility vest (provided)
  • Able to work in a team
  • Be discrete and sensitive when dealing with the public

Queensland Government trialing new online platform


The Queensland Government is currently trialing the new ‘My Account’ online dashboard that will allow Queenslanders to interact with government in a more efficient and user friendly manner, with development prioritising senior services.

The online senior services, developed by the government’s ‘One Stop Shop’ team, form part of the Queensland: An age-friendly community action plan which was the product of an online survey and consultations with various stakeholder groups.

The streamlined platform aims to consolidate and personalise information and application processes for ease of use. One trial service will enable seniors to apply for a seniors card and other concessions in one place. The Queensland Government is currently seeking feedback for this service.

More broadly, the ‘My Account’ platform will enable all Queenslanders to manage their details across multiple government departments, track the progress of applications, discover services they may be eligible for and more.
