Volunteer Product Manager

Position Description: This role is ideal for anyone with marketing experience. The organisation is in the process of launching its first products onto the market with more in development. You can be involved in the development process from the start. You will work with an experienced team of directors to bring their social enterprise products to the market.

Some of your duties will include helping the board of directors in the creation and management of products through the following ways:

  • Helping design new product ideas or update current products
  • Helping source suppliers of raw materials, packaging, manufacture, or other processes
  • Helping with marketing of products including liaison with other marketing people and organisations, including digital marketing
  • Helping with budgeting on product manufacture, supply, and sales
  • Helping with project management of new product creation, manufacture, and supply

Requirements: Experience or qualifications in marketing and product management

Duration: Long term

Availability: 1-2 half days per week

Training: Full induction and a detailed explanation of the organisation will be provided.

Reimbursement: Work-related expenses are covered by an expenses policy which is available on request.

Leadership Training

This workshop is aimed at giving senior managers of not-for-profits a new perspective on volunteering and how their philosophy and daily actions provide the grounds for effective volunteer engagement.
